Classes & Use Of The Workshop

Cardmaking classes are held at the following times:

• Tuesday afternoons from 1pm-3pm, and Wednesday and Friday mornings 9:30 to 11:30AM Weekly
• We offer an evening Cardmaking Class on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:00 – 9:00PM.

Our classes cover a variety of themes and techniques.  Participants create three lovely greeting cards and morning/afternoon tea and supper is also provided, at a cost of $20 per person.

Following on from our very successful ‘Summer Series’ of special Papercraft classes in previous years, we are again holding these classes every Wednesday in January – commencing January 7th.  Cost is $20 and kits can be ordered (for $20 – or $23 if postage is required) We’ll be creating Construction cards :-

Week 1 – Floating Diamond Cards

Week 2 – Pop up Cube Cards

Week 3 (Jan 21) – Pillar Cards

Week 4 (Jan 28) – Pop up Cards with a twist

Bookings are essential and can be made by phoning the store or messaging via facebook. 

Classes are held each Thursday (recommencing February 5 2026) from 9:30 to 11:30AM. We endeavour to cover a variety of themes and techniques in these hands-on classes, and provide photo sizes/themes via our Calendar prior to the class so that you can complete your layout in class if desired.

The cost of the class tuition is $15 plus kit/materials cost which are based on the weekly layout (average $10-$15).  Classes are designed to suit all skill levels and if you’ve never tried this wonderful craft before, let us know and we can be sure to make the time to help you through each step to success!

Our fortnightly Friday afternoons are on hold at present – please contact the store if you’re interested in joining this class and we will update you on when we will be recommencing. 

This class has a relaxed and social atmosphere to share stories, reminisce and create Scrapbooking layouts. Layouts can usually be adapted to suit various photo types and sizes and classes cost $15 plus kit/materials cost which are based on the weekly layout (average $10-$15).

Our monthly Saturday class is held on the fourth Saturday of the month from 10:00AM to 12:30PM. You’ll create a double page layout in class, and receive the images and instructions to create another two single layouts with the leftover class materials. Cost of the class is $45 and you can also order the Monthly Kit (for this class) if you’re unable to attend.  (Postage per monthly kit is $9.95).

Our lovely teacher Jo Herbert visits our Workshop every other month – bringing a wealth of knowledge and papercraft experience – focusing classes on more specialised techniques and trending products.  Her classes often ‘book out’ so be sure to save your spot by calling the store directly to book.  Cost is $30pp and classes run from 10am til 12.30.  Jo’s dates for 2026 are as follows :-                                  Saturday June 21, May 16, July 11, September 19 and November 21.

We also have guest designers visiting from time to time. We announce these classes via our Facebook Events page and through our email newsletter, so subscribe to stay up to date on these special classes!

Our first Cardmaking Class with Jo Herbert will be Saturday January 17.
